Plus end the celebration on June 27th with an evening concert at the Shipyard Amphitheatre, located at 2 North Maple Street and featuring Vokal Legend at 6pm followed by Wing Night (The Band) at 7pm! It will be a rockin' good time. Food and beverages available on site for purchase from local suppliers. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and celebrate in style at the waterfront. FREE ADMISSION. All are welcome.
July 1st will offer a whole day of scheduled activities, including a Pancake Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., a Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony at 2:00 p.m., and a giant Birthday cake for everyone to enjoy and much more! Also plan on coming to our Local Live Lunch with great food, a fun atmosphere and free performances by the area’s top-notch musicians, singers, and songwriters! Local Live Lunch welcomes everyone to drop by our outdoor concert area at Sheffer Court (186 Hurontario Street) where you can purchase your lunch on site from a featured restaurant, sit back in comfy Muskoka-style chairs, relax, and listen to great local, live music. Local Live lunch is a celebration of community spirit paired with culinary treats and music! It's a perfect compliment to our Canada Day celebration. Don't forget to make plans to finish the day with the Fireworks Show at 10pm.
