Collingwood Royal Canadian Legion will host the Highway of Heroes Tribute Ontario Ride from Base Borden to Collingwood. All are welcome!
The Royal Canadian Legion in Collingwood is hosting the destination reception for the inaugural Highway of Heroes Tribute Ontario Ride from Canadian Forces Base Borden as a kickoff event commemorating its 100th Anniversary of Branch 63 in Collingwood, taking place on Sunday, June 7th.
This tribute is open to all wheels, not just motorcycles. Motorcycles will lead the pack. Cars will follow. This tribute is an extension of the Nova Scotia Highway of Heroes. This tribute is to pay respect to our fallen heros from Military, Fire, Police and EMS.
This ride commemorates those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country and fellow citizens.
The riders, including motorbikes and vehicles, will corral and originate from Base Borden commencing at 10:00 am departing for Collingwood at 12:00 noon. The riders are expected to ride through the Collingwood area between 1:00PM and 1:30PM on Sunday June 7th culminating at Collingwood Legion Parking lot at 490 Ontario Street, Collingwood.
