The Town of Collingwood reminds residents that consumer fireworks are permitted on Victoria Day, Monday, May 18, 2026, from dusk until 11:00 p.m., in accordance with the Town’s Fireworks By-law No. 2012-064.

Important Safety Reminders

Fireworks may only be set off on Victoria Day and must conclude by 11:00 p.m.
Fireworks must be used on private property with the property owner’s permission.

Fireworks are not permitted in parks, schools, roadways, or any other public property without prior approval and a permit from the Chief Fire Official.

Individuals setting off fireworks are responsible for cleaning up all unused fireworks and debris immediately following the event.

Residents are urged to exercise caution and follow all fireworks safety guidelines.
