Whether you're shopping, dining, enjoying the waterfront, or spending time in Downtown Collingwood, several convenient parking options are available to help make your visit easy and enjoyable.
To meet parking demand in Downtown Collingwood, several convenient options are available.
Harbour House Parking
- Located at 31 Huron Street, Harbour House offers covered underground parking just steps from the waterfront, Dry Dock Junction Park, and within easy walking distance of downtown shops, restaurants, and businesses.
- Frequent patrons and those working downtown can opt for a monthly parking permit for just $10 plus tax per month (August and September).
- Occasional visitors can pay to park at the regular downtown rate of $1 per hour through HotSpot.
The Harbour House underground parking facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and helps provide additional capacity while keeping convenient short-term spaces available closer to downtown businesses.
As a reminder, the temporary free parking offer on Hurontario Street, introduced to support businesses during the Sixth Street Reconstruction Project, ended on July 10, 2026. Regular downtown parking rates are in effect in accordance with the Town's parking by-law.
Additional Municipal Parking Now Available
To further support parking availability in the downtown area, the Town has recently added new parking spaces in the municipal parking lot adjacent to the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena, accessible from Ste Marie Street.
These additional spaces are part of ongoing efforts to improve parking access and help accommodate residents, visitors, and downtown patrons.
Plan Ahead for a Smooth Visit
Downtown Collingwood remains a vibrant destination for shopping, dining, services, events, and waterfront experiences. By taking advantage of available municipal parking options, including Harbour House and nearby municipal lots, visitors can help make parking more efficient and accessible for everyone.
