Project Schedule

Construction is expected to commence in January 2026, with an anticipated completion date in May 2026.

Please note this schedule is subject to change based on several factors including inclement weather, unforeseen conditions, additional work required, the Contractor’s ability, etc.  Tatham Engineering and the Town of Collingwood will endeavor to keep residents and business owners aware of major schedule changes, should they arise.

Property and Trail Access

The affected sections of Harbour Street West and Tenth Line will have at least one lane open to vehicular traffic throughout construction. Access to all businesses within the project limits will be maintained, including Cranberry Golf Course, Legendary Group and the Simcoe County Waste Management Site.

Access to the Georgian Trail and Stynie Trail will generally be maintained during construction.  Some short-term trail closures will be required to install the watermain under the trail.  The Town will be posting notices on their website, social media channels and at entrances to the trails to notify trail users of expected closure dates when construction starts.

Emergency access to businesses and the trails will be maintained at all times.
