Residents and business owners in Collingwood and the surrounding area are advised that the Town
of Collingwood is proceeding with the road rehabilitation of Highway 26 from Grey Road 21 to Princeton Shores Boulevard. Please see the enclosed map for reference.
The Town has tendered and awarded the Contract to Seeley and Arnill Construction, who are scheduled to mobilize and commence work on October 14, 2025. Construction is expected to be substantially completed in December 2025.
Please note this schedule is subject to change, based on several factors including inclement weather, unforeseen subsurface conditions, etc. The Town of Collingwood and Tatham Engineering will endeavor to keep residents aware of major schedule changes, should they arise.
Site Safety and Traffic Control
Construction involves the use of heavy equipment and the unavoidable creation of obstacles (excavations, disturbed road conditions, etc.). The contractor is required to conduct the work in a safe manner, including having adequate traffic control. We ask that you take extra caution during the construction period to ensure everyone’s safety.
Recognizing the high volume of traffic within the project limits, motorists should expect delays and use alternative routes if feasible.
