This free public workshop offers a clear, down-to-earth look at what it means to serve on Council. You’ll learn how municipal government works, what Council members actually do, and what to expect if you decide to run, including time commitments, campaign rules, public expectations, and the realities of being in the public eye.
There’s no pressure to run. The goal is simply to help residents make an informed decision about public service and understand the responsibilities that come with it.
