Effective immediately, the Town of Collingwood has lifted its Total Fire Ban and is now under a High Fire Danger Rating. This decision, made by the Collingwood Fire Department, reflects the recent weather and conditions within the municipality.

The Collingwood Fire Department urges residents with a valid permit to exercise caution and follow the criteria in the open-air burning by-law.

Weather and conditions will be continually assessed. Residents and visitors are encouraged to monitor the Town of Collingwood website and social media channels for updates on the fire danger rating. Violations of the By-law may result in charges and fines.
