Congratulations to siblings Alysha (pictured above) and Rachelle Brioux, winners of the Youth Art Contest: ‘Our Community – Together We Create’.
Alysha is a Collingwood teen artist exploring mixed media. She is inspired by her love of vintage fashion, fitness and nature. Her winning piece is called ‘Deer Run Trail’.
Rachelle is also a Collingwood teen artist who paints pastel acrylic. The shorelines of Georgian Bay mostly inspire her work. Her winning piece is called ‘Georgian Bay Paddle Day’.
Alysha and Rachelle won Terminals Point Hoodies and year-long Student Transit Passes!
Their artwork will be used for several projects, including the creation of welcome cards for new Collingwood residents as part of a new welcome package the Town is working on.
