Town of Collingwood Moves to Moderate Fire Danger Rating

Effective August 25, 2025, the Collingwood Fire Department has downgraded the Fire Danger Rating to Moderate.

Residents with a valid burn permit are reminded to continue exercising caution and follow the criteria in the open-air burning by-law.

Weather and conditions will be continually assessed. Residents and visitors are encouraged to monitor the Town of Collingwood website and social media channels for updates on the fire danger rating. Violations of the By-law may result in charges and fines.
