The waves are calling, and the excitement is in the air as Sidelaunch Days is back bringing unforgettable music, movement, and maritime magic, all taking place over three days at Collingwood’s historic harbourfront and the Shipyards Amphitheatre, located at 2 North Maple Street.
Tonight, not only do we celebrate Collingwood's history in Shipbuilding but at the Amphitheatre, we are celebrating the history of the Big Band era! The stage lights up with special FREE performances featuring the Classic Blues of Boomerang, followed for the first-time presentation of music from the Big Band Era, with the incredible Toronto All-Star Big Band!
Bring your blanket, your lawn chair, or take a seat along the natural stone tiers to enjoy live music and breathtaking sunsets! It all starts at 6pm until 8:30pm.
Generous FREE parking is available at the end of North Birch Street in the large parking lot and then enjoy a very short walk down the trail to the Amphitheatre.
For convenience, you can use the "Drop Off" option on North Maple Street before parking, however parking spaces are coned off along North Maple Street for event entertainment, Sound/Production, vendors, sponsors and staff so please DO NOT remove the cones to take the spaces!
We ask that you DO NOT bring alcohol into the venue! Sidelaunch Brewing Company is on site for your beverage needs, as well as Bedward Jerk House, so you can eat, drink and be merry for an evening of fun! On site food and beverage products are available for purchase for your convenience.
Safety is our main concern, so security will be available on-site throughout the event!
