What’s Being Proposed
The property at 80 Summer View Avenue currently contains a motor vehicle repair garage. The Zoning By-law Amendment application seeks approval to facilitate a proposed minor expansion of the repair garage by:
- Rezoning 1,836 metres square of the subject lands from the (H16) RU-7 Zone to the RU-6 Zone;
- Permitting an increase to the Maximum Gross Floor Area in the RU-6 Zone from 447 square metres to 870 square metres; and
- Permitting a reduction to the Minimum Lot Area in the RU-7 Zone from 5,000 square metres to 3,250 square metres.
How to Participate
- Attend the public meeting in person or virtually
- Submit verbal comments during the meeting
- Submit written comments to Community Planner, Jocelyn Wainwright, before Council makes a decision at a future meeting
To have the right to appeal Council’s decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT), you must share your comments before Council makes its decision. However, please note that the rights of third parties to appeal Zoning By-law Amendment decisions to the Ontario Land Tribunal have been restricted under the Planning Act.
