Are you interested in being a part of what makes Collingwood such a great place to live, work, and play? If so, consider submitting your name for a seat at the table!

Nominations for Council and School Board Trustee will be accepted at Town Hall, 97 Hurontario Street, Collingwood:

  • May 1, 2026, through to August 20, 2026, during regular business hours (Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. *excludes statutory holidays); and
  • August 21, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Those wishing to submit a nomination are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance to ensure staff availability.

Town of Collingwood Council

  • Mayor (One Position)
  • Deputy Mayor (One Position)
  • Councillor (Seven Positions)

School Boards Trustee  

  • Simcoe County District School Board (English Public)
    *Nominations are being accepted at the Town of Collingwood.
  • Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (English Separate)
    *Nominations are being accepted at the Township of Springwater.
  • Conseil Scolaire Catholique Monavenir (French Separate)
    *Nominations are being accepted at the City of Barrie.
  • Conseil Scolaire Viamonde (French Public) 
    *Nominations are being accepted at the City of Barrie.
