2023 Community Profile
The Town of Collingwood has experienced explosive growth since the 2016 Census. With the largest population of any municipality in the area, Collingwood functions as the major commercial centre for northwest Simcoe County and northeast Grey County, servicing an overall trade area of approximately 75,000 people. In 2016, Collingwood’s census population was 21,793. Since then, the population is estimated to have grown by 21.9% to 26,563 permanent residents.
