A new exhibit is coming to The Gallery at L.E. Shore, inspired by a deep love of painting the beauty of Ontario and getting better at it along the way.
Holly Kee and Delia Eastwood have spent most of their lives in the Great Lake region of Ontario and feel that the Niagara Escarpment and our freshwater lakes to be large and generous characters, rewarding us just by being themselves. These artists strive to honour the beauty of their home’s lakes, rocks and trees through drawing and painting.
While no work can fully convey nature’s wonder, the paintings created can be brought indoors to brighten our spaces when we are unable to experience their true form outdoors.
Opening Celebrations
All are welcome to the show’s launch on May 3 between 2:00-4:00pm. This is a fun opportunity to engage with the exhibit and its artists and a chance to mingle with the local arts community. Complimentary refreshments provided.
Following the opening, the show runs May 3-28.
Live Painting & Sketching Session
Delia and Holly will also be setting up at The Gallery for a live painting and sketching session! On May 17, stop by between 1:00-3:00pm for a chat with the artists and enjoy a fun peek into their creative process. This is a causal, drop-in program. No registration required.
