Spring Lesson Session:

Registration day is Tuesday, March 10th.

Registration opens:

  • Online at 6:30 a.m.
  • In-Person at 8:30 a.m.

Please note:  Phone registrations will not be accepted on March 10th.  You may call the Parks, Recreation and Culture office beginning Wednesday, March 11th to register over the phone.

Beginning March 12th, due to staff availability on Fridays, AquaFit will move to Thursday mornings until further notice.  An up-to-date schedule will be posted and available for pick-up Friday, March 10th.

Public Swim/Lane Swim Child/Youth (17Y under)- $3.50
Public Swim/Lane Swim Adult (18Y-54Y)- $4.50
Public Swim/Lane Swim Senior (55+Y)- $3.50
Public Swim/Lane Swim Family (3 or more and max 2 adults)- $9.25
Public Swim/Lane Swim Group rate (up to 10 people)-$32.50
Aqua Fitness Adult (18Y-54Y)-$4.50

Admission Policy

Public Admission Standards apply to visitors during unregistered program times at the Centennial Aquatic Centre.

Children – 5 years of age and younger

  • Must be accompanied in the water by a parent or adult guardian (minimum 14-years of age)                                                              
  • Parent or adult guardian is responsible for their direct supervision and must be within arm’s reach of the child at all times
  • Maximum two children per parent or adult guardian
  • Children within this age group are restricted from deep end use regardless of swimming ability.

Children – 6 to 9 years of age

  • Must be accompanied in the water by a parent or adult guardian (minimum 14-years of age)
  • Parent/guardian is responsible for their direct supervision and must be able to give immediate assistance
  • Non-swimmers must remain within arm’s reach of their parent or adult guardian
  • Maximum four children per parent or adult guardian
  • A swim test may be administered at the discretion of the Lifeguard for participation in deep water activities.

Children – 10 years of age and older

  • May swim without a parent or guardian
  • Recommended to always swim with a buddy

Centennial Aquatic Centre offers various programs outlined by Lifesaving Society standards. We offer public swims, Aquafit, lane swims, Learn to Swim lessons, Lifesaving Leadership courses and First Aid & Standard CPR.

The Collingwood Aquatic Centre offers Lifesaving Leadership courses which prepare participants to become National Lifeguard Service certified. These courses are suitable for swimmers between 8 and 15 years of age. Beginning with the Canadian Swim Patrol, progressing to three Bronze medal awards.Click here for lesson brochure to review course dates and times.
