NOTICE OF PASSING OF HERITAGE DESIGNATION BY-LAW 310 SEVENTH STREET

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Collingwood, on January 30th, 2023, passed By-law 2023-008, being a Bylaw to designate 310 Seventh Street as having Cultural Heritage Value or Interest under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act. 

AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that any person who objects to this By-law may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal by notifying the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Clerk of the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood in writing within 30 days after the publication of this notice. The last day to appeal is March 18th, 2023. A notice of appeal must set out the objections to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection, accompanied by the fee charged by the Ontario Land Tribunal which must be in the form of a certified cheque or money order payable to the Minister of Finance.


DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY:

The subject property, known municipally as 310 Seventh Street is located on the south side of Seventh Street between Walnut Street and Oak Street. The property contains a 1976/2018 church building. The legal description of the property is Lot 29 S/S Seventh Street Plan 45, Town of Collingwood, County of Simcoe.
