Jewish Heritage Month
In recognition of Jewish Heritage Month, the Town of Collingwood is sharing events and initiatives organized by the Southern Georgian Bay Jewish Community that honour Jewish heritage, history, and culture. These activities offer opportunities for learning, dialogue, and meaningful community connection.

Asian Heritage Month
In recognition of Asian Heritage Month and to celebrate the long-standing Sister City relationship between Collingwood and Katano, Japan, a storyboard project was created to tell the story of how this connection began, the reasons behind its formation, and how it has developed over the years. This project was made possible through collaboration with the Collingwood–Katano Sister City Committee.
These storyboards will be on display during the month of May in the windows of Town Hall located at 97 Hurontario Street.
The Collingwood–Katano Sister City flag will be raised on Monday, May 11th, 2026, in recognition of Asian Heritage Month and the long‑standing relationship with our sister city, Katano, Japan.
