As part of regular fall maintenance, the Water Department flushes fire hydrants throughout the Town of Collingwood.
This maintenance ensures the proper operation of fire hydrants and while the water is safe, the flushing could result in cloudy or coloured water which will clear up if a cold water tap is left running for a short time.
