The Town Hall Clock Tower will be illuminated Purple on May 19th in recognition of World Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Day in the Town of Collingwood.
About this campaign: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes the body to attack healthy tissue, leading to inflammation of all or part of the digestive system. This disease affects 344,000 Canadians, with an additional 12,000 being diagnosed this year – one every 44 minutes.
