You are invited to join us as we commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.
The gathering begins at 7:15 a.m. at the Collingwood Cenotaph, located at 45 St. Paul Street, on the Collingwood Museum grounds, with the commemoration ceremony beginning at 7:30 a.m. with the Last Post.
Military members, veterans & children of veterans are encouraged to wear medals in honour of this historical anniversary.
Limited seating is available for older veterans who wish to attend.
In memory of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day that took place on June 6th, 1944, in Normandy, France, and the commencement of the Allied Forces freeing of France in World War 2.
