The Town of Collingwood is calling on local students in Grades 7 to 12 to step into the spotlight and apply for its exciting Mayor for a Month initiative. This unique opportunity offers youth a behind-the-scenes look at municipal government, hands-on experience and meaningful community engagement.
Students selected as Youth Mayor will:
✅ Collaborate with the Mayor and Town officials
✅ Gain insights into the workings of local government
✅ Participate in community events and civic engagement
✅ Receive a professional photo with the Junior Chain of Office
✅ Earn volunteer hours for school
✅ Receive a $250 honorarium for their contributions
Applications will be accepted until May 2nd.
