On the Move- Active Transportation

Get "On the Move" in Collingwood

The Town of Collingwood is proud to partner with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on the On the Move initiative, which encourages active school travel like walking, biking, skateboarding, scootering, or using inline skates to get to and from school or the bus stop. This program supports children in achieving at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day.

Active school travel offers many benefits for both students and the community. It helps kids stay healthy, energized, and ready to learn, while also reducing traffic congestion around schools, improving safety, and contributing to a cleaner environment.
