Collingwood OPP Detachment Board (2 vacancies – 4 Year Term)
Is responsible for establishing objectives, priorities, and local policies for police services in consultation with the Detachment Commander. The Board also provides governance and oversight by monitoring the Detachment Commander's performance, receiving reports on secondary activities, and reviewing the administration of the public complaints process established under the Police Services Act.

Under the Ontario Public Libraries Act, public libraries in Ontario must be operated under the management and control of a public library board. The board has the authority to formulate policies concerning the operations and services of the public library.

Committee of Adjustment / Property Standards Committee (5 vacancies – 4 year Term)
The Committee of Adjustment/Property Standards Committee is a quasi judicial body and hears applications for minor variances, consent to sever a property, the enlargement or extension of a building or structure that is legal non-conforming, for a change in non-conforming use, and further to hear appeals to property standards orders.
