The Town's Parks, Recreation & Culture Department offers a variety of parks and facility rental options. When planning your next special event, consider one of our parks, arenas, meeting rooms or sports fields.

Eddie Bush Memorial Arena
- Full size 200 ft. x 85 ft. ice surface
- On Ice Capacity: 175
- Seating Capacity: 1200
- During the summer months the ice is removed and the floor space can be rented.

Central Park Outdoor Rink
- Functions as an outdoor rink, weather permitting, from late December or early January until end of February.
During the spring, summer and fall months the surface is used for pickle ball, summer camps, special events and other sports. - On Ice Capacity: 175

- Check for status updates about the Outdoor Rink on our Skating Page.
- Create/log in to your recreation account
- Select the Book Facility tab from your personal profile
- Select Outdoor Rink (ODR)
- Search the calendar and select your desired date/time. Please note, for last minute bookings less than 48 hours or more than 60 days from today, you would be required to contact Customer Service.
- Follow the process to confirm your booking and make payment.
- Sign and return the rental agreement by email to prc@collingwood.ca
Fields become playable upon drying enough to avoid damage in the spring, as determined by the Manager of Parks. Most goals and nets are typically installed sometime in early May, and removed in October, however these times are all weather dependent.
Soccor Pitches
- Fisher Field has 11 soccer pitches available to rent ranging from full size, 3/4, Mini and Micro.
- Harbourview Park has 1 full sized pitch, however this is typically used for rugby
Rugby Fields
- Harbourview Park has a full sized field without sports lighting
Baseball Diamonds
- Central Park has 2 diamonds available with sports field lighting
- Old Village Legion Park has 1 full sized diamond available with sports field lighting
- Heritage Park has 2 diamonds available, 1 full sized
Multi-Use Tennis Courts
- Mair Mills has 1 court available.
- Kinsmen Park has 2 courts available
- Princeton Shores has 2 courts available. Paid parking is in effect, seasonally, 7 days a week 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from the Friday before the Victoria Day holiday until Thanksgiving Holiday Monday.
Volleyball Courts
- 5 volleyball courts are available for use at Sunset Point Park behind the playground and pavilion
- 3 courts are available to pre-book, 2 courts remain open for first-come first-serve use
Pickleball Courts
- During the warmer months, the Central Park Outdoor Rink is converted into 7 outdoor pickleball courts on the concrete pad.
- Nets are availble for use and must be set up by the renters by contacting the staff located at the Central Park Arena
- Princeton Shores courts are lined for both Tennis & Pickleball
The Centennial Aquatic Centre offers various programs outlined by Lifesaving Society standards. We offer public swims, Aquafit, lane swims, Learn to Swim lessons, Lifesaving Leadership courses and First Aid & Standard CPR.
At this time, facility rentals are currently geared to organizations and teams looking for space to swim.
Sunset Point Park Greenspaces
- 3 definied greenspaces are available to book throughout Sunset Point Park: The Inukshuk (Centre of Park); Rotary Park (West End) and the Swim Area (east end)
- Due to the popularity of the park, greenspaces are only available to book outside of the busier summer months but are available on a first-come-first-serve basis for daily users of the park.
- Paid parking is in effect, seasonally, 7 days a week 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from the Friday before the Victoria Day holiday until Thanksgiving Holiday Monday.
Sunset Point Park Pavilion
- Sunset Point Pavilion is an enclosed building within Sunset Point Park.
- Perfect for birthday parties, social or family gatherings and Wedding rehearsals with close and easy access to the park and the water.
- Accessible, but rustic setting, including picnic tables with bench seating, fridge, no air conditioning, but 3 doors can be opened for a cross breeze.
- Capacity with tables and seating: 35 – 40 guests
- Washrooms available on the east side of the Pavilion.
- Paid parking is in effect, seasonally, 7 days a week 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from the Friday before the Victoria Day holiday until Thanksgiving Holiday Monday.
Sunset Point Park Stage
- The community stage at Sunset Point Park is a public facility that is also available for rent for private functions
- A ramp or steps provide access to the stage platform and 2 power outlets are available on the stage support pillars
- Natural seating is available consisting of large rocks and tree stumps
- Perfect for small cermonies, exercise classes or performances.
- Paid parking is in effect, seasonally, 7 days a week 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from the Friday before the Victoria Day holiday until Thanksgiving Holiday Monday.
The Arboretum & Pergola
- The Collingwood Arboretum is a beautiful park with both paved and natural trails for hiking and biking.
- It is a vital Botanical Park complete with historical records (genealogy, habitat, common & botanical names) of coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs and plants. The entrances are located off First Street on Hickory Street or Cedar Street at Harborview Park.
- Perfect for special occasions, weddings and celebrations.
The Amphitheatre
- The Shipyards Amphitheatre & Greenspace is a community park located at the Northern most point of Maple Street. It features a number of pedestrian pathways, cycling routes, a lookout points and an open-air natural Amphitheatre at its north end facing Collingwood Harbour.
- Seating is built into the hill side and faces out to the harbour with full water views.
- Hydro is available based on request with your rental.
- Parking available at Harbourview Park (at the foot of Birch Street)
- Perfect for small wedding ceremonies or other occasions, musical performances or exercise classes.
Millennium Park
- Millennium Park provides breathtaking views of Georgian Bay, as well as magnificent views of Collingwood Harbour, and Blue Mountain in the background.
- Multi purpose greenspace for activities such as hosting a special occasion, sporting activities, picnics, swimming and fishing.
- Paid parking is in effect, seasonally, 7 days a week 9:00 am to 9:00 pm from the Friday before the Victoria Day holiday until Thanksgiving Holiday Monday.
Friendship Gardens
- Collingwood has had a twin city relationship with Katano, Japan since 1981. This pairing has been successful with active volunteers in both communities keeping the relationship strong. What many people may not know is that one of our parks is dedicated to this sister city relationship; the Friendship Gardens located just north of the Police station on Minnesota Street.
- This cozy space is ideal for small wedding ceremonies, a relaxing stroll or meditative time.
Curling Club Main Floor
- Collingwood Curling club is a multi purpose surface. In winter months, it has 8 curling surfaces. In the summer months this space is often used for dances, a variety of sports, summer camps and trade shows.
- Tables and chairs are available upon request at the time of booking.
Curling Club Second Floor Lounge
- Located upstairs at the Curling Club
- Capacity with tables & seating: 100
- Capacity standing room only: 200
- Perfect for bonspiels, corporate functions, family get-togethers, fundraisers and social gatherings.

- Bookings in mid September until April 1st are managed by the Curling Club directly.
- Bookings after April 1st until Labour Day in September are managed by the Town of Collingwood.
Foyer
- The foyer serves as theatre entrance, reception area, and art gallery. With it's art covered walls curated by the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts, crowds are always captivated when entering or entertaining.
Theatre
- At the crossroads of creativity and expression you’ll find the Simcoe Street Theatre!
- This 99-seat black box theatre is host to innovative works, experimental presentations, and intimate concert experiences unlike anywhere else. Whether debuting your latest album, work-shopping your first show or hosting a family function – the Simcoe Street Theatre is the venue for you.

Eddie Bush Memorial Hall of Fame Meeting Room
- Pictures of the sporting legends of Collingwood adorn the walls of the Hall of Fame room at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.
- Available to book for sporting events, fundraising events, meeting groups, & small social gatherings.
- Limited accessibility

Library Community Rooms
- The Collingwood Public Library has 5 spaces available for rentals:
- Freeschools World Literacy Community Room: first floor, max. 25 people
- Murray Clerskson Room: second floor, max. 20 people
- Community Room B: third floor, max. 30 people
- Community Room C: third floor, max. 30 people
- Community Rooms B & C combined: third floor, max. 100 people
- Rentals are arranged by Library Staff and details are available on the Library website
Leisure Time Club
The Leisure Time Club offers rental facilities to accommodate groups of up to 175 people (depending on the type of event) and can accommodate up to 125 people for a dinner and dance.

- The Awen’ Gathering Place is a space along the Collingwood waterfront to recognize the First Nations presence in South Georgian Bay and to create opportunities for engagement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples while fostering reconciliation through education and conversation.
- As an outdoor space, the Awen’ Gathering Place is available free of charge to the community for ceremonies, celebrations, teachings, contemplation and other peaceful and respectful gatherings.
- The Awen’ is made use by the Town of Collingwood for events and gatherings but is meant to be used informally by the community.
- There is no booking of the space or rental fee, however we ask that you adhere to the terms of use of the space.

For the purposes of the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department of the Town of Collingwood, a special event will be defined as a one-time or infrequently occurring event outside normal programs or activities of the organizing body and/or host facility. All special events taking place on municipal property require a Special Event permit. There are specific timelines which must be adhered to if your event is to be approved and issued a Special Event permit.
