An Evening with Rob Chatwin – Puppet Film & Stop Motion Animation

Join 2024 Robert G. Kemp Award winner Rob Chatwin for an inspiring evening exploring the magic of filmmaking with puppets and stop motion animation. Rob will share insights into his creative process and debut his two new short films, Kody and Austin Ave.

Children ages 6-12 are invited to spend active and heritage-inspired mornings with Museum staff all summer long! Registration for the Collingwood Museum’s Summer Programs opens on Thursday, April 3 at 9:00 a.m. Our summer programs run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, for nine weeks beginning July 2.

Kids will dive into hands-on, museum-based activities that bring history to life in exciting ways. Visit our website to learn more about our weekly themes, and to register on PerfectMind.

Calling all young sports fans! 🏆 Game Changers is an exciting, hands-on program where kids aged 6-12 will discover the incredible athletes who shaped Collingwood’s sports history. Through engaging stories, crafts, and fun games, participants will explore the triumphs, challenges, and lasting impact of our hometown heroes.

CollingWord 2025 is a literary festival that brings authors and readers alike together for a weekend of local storytelling, graphic novels, fan fiction, and much much more. Taking place from 18 - 19 October at the Collingwood Public Library, CollingWord is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the literary achievements of the local authors of the South Georgian Bay Writers’ Connection (SGBWC), while encouraging literary development among youth.

Hey Kids! March Break is here, and it’s time to PLAY!

Join Theatre Collingwood for our exciting March Break Drama Camp, where creativity takes center stage, and friendships bloom! This fun-filled, action-packed week is the perfect opportunity to explore your imagination, build your self-confidence, and most of all... HAVE FUN!

Our instructors are experienced theatre professionals who know what it takes to create magic on the stage! Their passion for the stage is contagious, and they are eager to share their knowledge and skills with you.
