Come on out to a live art competition, loosely inspired by the hit TV show Landscape Artist of the Year (UK) and its Canadian iteration!

Set on the lawns of the L.E. Shore Library, this is a competition with a twist:

Five featured artists each have four hours to complete a single painting, competing for the L.E. Shore Gallery Artist of the Year title. However, a sixth spot in the competition is still open and it will be filled live during the event!

We love our beautiful community so please come out and help us to keep it beautiful on Saturday, April 25th as we try to clean up Harbourview Park while trying to do our part in an effort to reach the 2026 goal of cleaning up and recycling 1.5 million cigarette butts across Canada!

It benefits all of us within our town and also sets a great example for our kids regarding the importance of protecting and preserving our environment!

Attention all garage sale lovers: come find a bargain at The Gallery at L.E. Shore’s first ever Art Supplies Sale!

This is a garage-sale-style market held on the front lawns of the L.E. Shore Library, featuring gently used arts and crafts supplies from the personal collections of your friends and neighbours. There will be a range of items for sale, including paint, paintbrushes, easels, art books, stamps, sketch pads, jewelry-making supplies, paper crafting supplies and more! Bringing cash is recommended.

Get in touch with your artistic side and make some sidewalk chalk art at the L.E. Shore Library! We’ll supply the chalk (and cold lemonade!), just bring yourself and your imagination.

We’re also excited to host artist Nicole Foster, who will be crafting a chalk piece to show what can be accomplished with just art supplies and a stretch of asphalt.

All ages welcome. This is a free event, and chalk supplied at no cost. Chalk supplies and sidewalk spots limited – first come, first served. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.

The tradition of Halloween and the Black Harvest Festival continues in historically Chilling Downtown Collingwood with Witches (and Warlocks) of the ‘Wood taking over the town. Mark October 31st on your calendar and prepare to come downtown for Halloween-themed activities and events, even a Haunted Bus! Of course, our downtown merchants invite all the costumed good little girls and boys to come for some early trick or treating… just look for the Orange ‘Witch’ signs on the door or window to find out who has treats inside.

Georgian Bay Park is home to Grimm Grounds, a significant Hallowe'en event.

In the main town square, Spookytown will be on full display and is the only one of its kind open to the public. Also in this area, beautifully carved Jack-O-Lanterns will be lit up for our patrons' viewing pleasure.

The town square will also include the homage to clowns, infamous horror characters, a DJ stage, and the outdoor movie screen, which will feature family-friendly horror films.
