The proposal is a Zoning By-law Amendment to re-zone the subject property, which currently contains a single-storey building with a daycare centre, from Deferred Residential (DR) zone to a Holding X Residential Fourth Density Exception [(HX) R4-XX] zone to permit a four-storey apartment building with 60 units. The proposed amendment also seeks to establish site-specific provisions for the proposed [(HX) R4-XX] zone to facilitate the proposed apartment building use including minimum interior side yard; minimum landscaped open space; maximum driveway width; minimum number of resident and visitor parking spaces; and minimum parking space length.
