The Ontario government has announced that Simcoe Muskoka will be moving into the red-control zone at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020, under the province's colour-coded COVID-19 safety framework. The restrictions will remain in place for at least 28 days, after which the government will reassess public health measures to determine the zone status.

The Town of Collingwood is asking everyone to follow all required public health measures and public health advice. Our goal is to act responsibly, work together, and we encourage you to continue to support local businesses safely.

The Town’s critical and essential services, including fire services, drinking water & wastewater treatment, snow clearing, enforcement of priority bylaws, and essential customer services will continue. We are working to update our service offerings to keep the public and staff safer and to comply with the new Red Zone classification.
